We aim to follow the new standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act which sets new limits for lead and phthalates, an industrial compound that softens plastics. Therefore, we cannot accept many children’s plastic toys and clothing with decorative items and stuffed animals. We are grateful for your donations but there may be a few occasions when we need to refuse to accept certain items.

Local ordinance prohibits leaving donations on exterior of premises when the shop is closed.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THRIFT SHOP
Lots of volunteers will give all the more people a chance to experience fun and do mission work at the same time. You can sign up for just one morning or afternoon a month or more if you wish. We will have a time during the week when we will be open only to sort and price donations. We need volunteers for many different periods of time so you can choose what best fits your schedule. There will be errands to run, and artistic talents needed. Let us know what you would like to do and when you are available. Contact Lee Ann Trimble (e-mail: leeanntrimble123@gmail.com), for more information and to volunteer.
