Senior Pastor
Rev. Sheila Crowe comes to Pastor Brooks United Methodist Church, after having served as Pastor at Hogansville First Methodist. She has a passion for families and building the kingdom of God. She is a graduate of Mercer’s McAfee School of Theology and attended classes in Methodism at Asbury and Emory University. She has been in the ministry for 15 years and is an ordained Elder. Prior to receiving her call into ministry, she worked for the American Cancer Society as the State Vice President of Income Development in North Carolina. She is married to Gene and has six children and three grand children. Four of the children still live at home with her and her husband: Rosie, 17, Justin 9, Misty 8 and Jesse 8. In her free time, Rev. Crowe loves to play cards with friends and cook in the kitchen with her husband, Gene.

Associate Pastor
Lesley holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina; a Master of Business Administration from Brenau University; and a Master of Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. Prior to being called into ordained ministry, Lesley worked in psychiatric healthcare as a director of Child and Adolescent Services. Lesley is married to Dan and they have two children, Neil and Hampton.

Administrative Assistant
Jill has been the smiling face behind the phone at Brooks UMC since May 5, 1997. She has worked in offices of such companies as Gulf Supply, International Paper and Vantage Commercial Real Estate. She and her husband, Bill, moved from Texas to Georgia to begin a family in 1987 and have a daughter, Jenna, and a son, Matt. Jill has completed most of the Bible Study Fellowship Studies and was a leader in Young Life (Wildlife) for five years. She continues to find joy working with youth as a small group leader of high school girls. Jill is also a Stephens Minister.

Melba Brown
Church Hostess
Melba was born and raised in the Griffin area. She attended Griffin High School and married David R. Brown in August of 1980. They moved to Peachtree City in April of 1987. She was employed by the State of Georgia for 14 ½ years and then she and David opened a floral shop in Jonesboro, which they owned and operated for 15 years.
Upon closing the business, Melba was a homemaker for a few months, then, in January 2003, she was employed by Brooks United Methodist Church as the Wednesday Night Coordinator. She and David have two children – Jennifer who is 27, married and residing in Boise, Idaho, and Christopher, 24, who is in the United States Marine Corps.

Pianist
Sheryl grew up at Brooks United Methodist Church and has served as Pianist for 39 years. She has worked with Brooks Elementary school music program and the East Coweta High School chorus as pianist for concerts and tours. She has served Brooks as Children's Choir director, Vacation Bible School director, and has helped coordinate Easter Egg Hunts. Sheryl also works as a paralegal and sells Pampered Chef. She has been married for 23 years to Rick and has three wonderful children, Tiffany O'Neal Blount (mother of Sheryl’s precious twin grandsons: Gabriel & Garrett) Ross & Alli. She enjoys cooking, sewing, crocheting, collecting “Gone With The Wind” paraphernalia and she is an avid baseball fan.
